1. Who we are
The website plipplop.studio and the products sold on it are provided by Patryk Twardowski, Mordechaja Anielewicza 35/24, 01-057 Warszawa, Poland, VAT EU PL5321867515, e-mail hello@plipplop.studio (“we”). These terms apply to using the website and to buying our products. We sell audio plugins and Max for Live devices; the products on sale are listed on the website.
2. The product and what you need
Each product has its own page on the website. The page describes what the product does and lists what it needs: the formats, the operating system and the host program (for example a DAW that loads VST3 or CLAP, or Ableton Live with Max for Live). These are the product’s requirements. If the page says the product has not been tested on some system yet, it says so before you buy, and point 7 applies if it does not work there.
The manual (PDF) is free to read before you buy: please check that the product suits your system. Below, “the product” means the one you bought.
3. Buying and paying
Orders are handled by our online reseller Creem (Armitage Labs OÜ, Tallinn, Estonia), the merchant of record: Creem takes the payment, settles VAT or sales tax where due, issues the invoice or receipt and appears on your statement. Creem’s buyer terms apply to the payment.
Prices are shown in euros. Prices include VAT and any other tax due. The amount to pay is shown at checkout before you pay. The contract is concluded when the payment is confirmed.
4. Delivery
Right after payment Creem e-mails you a link to your Creem customer portal, where you can download a ZIP file, then and at any later time. It holds the product’s files (for example the plug-in in each format, or the device’s .amxd file), its manual (PDF) and a Read me with the installation steps. There is no licence key, no activation and no copy protection. Keep the ZIP: it is your copy.
5. Licence
Buying a product gives you a personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable licence to install and use it on the computers you use, for any purpose, including commercial music and sound. The audio you make with it is yours.
You may not share, resell, rent or publish the product’s files or your download link, and you may not decompile or modify the product except where the law allows it; for a Max for Live device, this includes taking it apart in Max to edit, reuse or republish its patch or code. The product, its look and its manual remain ours.
6. Right of withdrawal
Our products are digital content delivered right away. If you buy as a consumer in the EU, you agree at checkout that delivery starts immediately and acknowledge that you therefore lose the 14-day right of withdrawal (Art. 16(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU; Art. 38(13) of the Polish Consumer Rights Act). Your rights when the product does not work, described below, stay in full.
7. Refunds
We refund when the product does not work as described on a system that meets the requirements in point 2 and we cannot fix it.
- Write to hello@plipplop.studio with your operating system and its version, your host program and its version (for a Max for Live device, also the Max version), and what happens.
- We answer within 3 business days and first try to fix the problem, for example with a corrected version.
- If we cannot fix it within a reasonable time, you get a full refund through Creem.
We do not refund a change of mind or use on systems outside the requirements. This policy does not limit your statutory rights as a consumer, including your rights when digital content does not conform to the contract.
8. Updates and support
Updates that fix errors in the version you bought are free and come the same way as the purchase. For help, write to us or ask on our Discord.
9. Liability
Keep backups of your projects. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses from using our products, such as lost work or lost profit. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer.
10. Law and disputes
Polish law applies. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory law of the country where you live. Before going to court, write to us; consumers in Poland can also ask a municipal or district consumer ombudsman (rzecznik konsumentów) or the Trade Inspection (Inspekcja Handlowa) for free help.
11. Changes
We may change these terms, for example when we add products. A purchase is governed by the terms in force on the day it was made.
